Furniture – My client contracted a custom desk without an approved design. A box arrived for me to finish. In the room I had finished the wood work and applied a faux leather finish on the walls. To dress up the desk, I applied decorative applique moldings, stained the legs same as the wood work, painted the body and accent trim, then created a Monogram in a gold metallic finish. The desk was then antiqued to establish a sense of age. The top received a real leather covering. It’s masculine while still being decorative… for a box.

Furniture – My client was throwing this dresser away. I opened the drawer and realized it was made from mahogany. I explained I could transform it back to it’s original condition. The result is beautiful. They were very please with their New Dresser! Before tossing a piece, try to see it in a different light.

Furniture – Wood Toned Glazed Armoire. I saved my clients the cost of stripping this piece by applying a few layers of a toning glaze. I was able to match the finish to the new bedroom set. Aside from the savings, they loved the cabinet and were very happy to keep it.

Floors – Decorative Floor Finish

Floors – This concrete floor had been patched in various places and received a densifyer which prevented acid or acrylic stain from being effective. To solve this problem I applied a hand painted decorative finish using an acrylic glaze to emulate an acid stained finish. The floor then received a urethane clear coat.
